De-Caping the Black Woman Series: Healing Our Inner Child

On September 30th, Benita Spinner, CEO of Spinner Consults, is bringing the ‘De-caping the Black Women’ Series to Camp Springs, Maryland.

Last years’ event was framed around “Unmasking the SuperWoman in us”. We took off our masks- both physically and emotionally. 

The second part of this series is going to be a dynamic and critical part of our “step 2” in this series. In this second part series, we will have a panel of dynamic women who will be sharing their own individual stories and experiences and have overcome some hurdles in life, despite their trauma. 

Our theme for this event is “Healing Our Inner Child”. This conversation is going to help us explore what healing is, so we can be strong women from the inside as well as the outside.

Let’s redefine the phrase “Strong Black Woman” to something more realistic and sustainable.

This event will include a panel discussion, session, conversation, networking, food, fun, and of course some healing!
